Relay Terms of Service

Effective September 24, 2026

These terms govern use of Relay, a JP Design service that connects Customers with local businesses, Vendors, Organizers, venues, places, and events. By using a Relay account or submitting content through the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

Accounts and roles

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law. A Customer account may be created through an available sign-in method. Signing in does not make you a Vendor or Organizer.

Vendor access is controlled. A business or person becomes a participating Vendor only through an accepted application or an authorized Organizer invitation, subject to the applicable Organizer's process. A Vendor invitation or referral does not by itself guarantee acceptance into a particular event, booth, or opportunity. Organizer access requires an authorized membership or other authority granted through Relay. You must use each role only within the permissions actually granted to you.

Listings, applications, and content

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you submit, including business profiles, products or services, prices, availability, event information, applications, images, documents, links, and messages. Do not submit content you lack the right to use. Organizers are responsible for the events, venues, participation rules, decisions, and information they publish or manage. Businesses and Vendors are responsible for their own offerings and representations.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant Relay a non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate the service and make it available according to the visibility and workflow you choose. You also permit reasonable technical copies and backups for that purpose. This permission ends when the content is removed, except where continued handling is needed for existing records, legal obligations, or ordinary backups. Relay may remove or limit content that violates these terms, applicable law, or another person's rights.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others, submit false applications or misleading listings, infringe rights, harass users, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or collect personal information without permission, or use Relay for unlawful activity. Do not use a Customer account or a referral to bypass an Organizer's Vendor approval process.

Transactions and third parties

Relay helps people find and coordinate with local businesses and events. Unless a particular feature expressly says otherwise, any purchase, booking, payment, refund, delivery, event admission, or other transaction is arranged between the people, businesses, or Organizers involved. Their terms and policies may also apply. Relay does not guarantee a listing, offer, event, participant, or outcome, and is not responsible for a third party's goods, services, conduct, or website.

Service and account actions

Relay may change, pause, or discontinue features as the service develops. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems, or circumstances outside our control. We may restrict or close an account, remove content, or limit a role when reasonably needed to address misuse, security, legal requirements, or violations of these terms. Where appropriate, we will consider the context and available information before taking action.

Relay materials

Relay's software, design, name, and other service materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms give you permission to use the service for its intended purposes while you comply with them; they do not transfer ownership of Relay materials or other users' content to you.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Relay is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep it useful and secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of user-provided listings and event information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by third-party conduct or transactions outside Relay's control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as Relay changes. The effective date above identifies the latest published version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. Questions about these terms, an account, or content can be sent to jason@jasonpeltier.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how Relay handles information.
